Michael Barker is the Managing Director of Barker Pacific Group, a firm comprised of experienced real estate professionals active in asset management, acquisitions and development of major commercial projects. Since founding Barker Pacific Group in 1983, Michael has directed the development and/or redevelopment of over $1.5 billion in commercial projects and is actively focusing on residential, office and retail property.

Over the past three decades, Michael has organized projects in such cities as Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, San Diego, Phoenix, Houston, Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Prior to establishing Barker Pacific Group, he was Vice President at Hines, a major development company based in Houston. He also formed the First Houston Trust Company in 1970 after starting his career at Citibank in New York.
